Take time to relax in this Otaku world!

Because Japan Expo Sud is not all video games noises and excited fans screaming but also the calm and serenity of the Japanese tradition of well-being.

Académie de Shiatsu Iokai

The purpose of the Academy is to spread Shiatsu Iokai and traditional oriental methods helping to the harmony between body and soul, such as Do In - Qi Gong or Tai Ji Quan.

Shiatsu, a Japanese art of living, was born in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century, Shi meaning finger and Atsu, pressure. This simple and natural method consists in pressuring the whole body to relax it. Those pressures of the thumbs, hands, elbows and knees stimulate the Ki (vital force).

Shiatsu may be applied by anyone because it is simple. That’s why it is also a popular art practiced with family or friends, not only to relax but also to develop our understanding of ourselves and others.

In Japan it is said that “Shiatsu is like maternal affection, life emerges from the pressure of the hands.”

Institut Touch Line

The Touch Line institute is the European leader of Amma sitted massages which is based upon the traditional art of acupressure, born in Japan 1300 years ago. It was founded by Tony NEUMAN who has been teaching in Europe and in the USA for 15 years.

A sitted massage session is made of highly choreographed session called Kata which are very efficient and demand few efforts. This style of massage works on the shoulders, back, neck, hips, arms, hands and head through the clothes. It may be applied anytime, anywhere and to anyone. It is particularly recommended to make the energy run through the body.

Getting a massage according to this modern technique gives more energy, vitality and gives a very agreeable relaxing sensation.

Reiki Harmonie

Reiki is a technique of physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual well-being. It was founded by Mikao USUI in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century and has been taught at Reiki Harmonie by Odile FÉLENTAIN-DAHAN for over 10 years.

Reiki acts according to people’s deep needs and priorities. When practicing Reiki, changes in people’s life and relationships happen, to more harmony and well-being, as well as a development of the intuition and self-confidence. There’s nothing to expect but everything to receive.

Reiki is practiced by applying your hands on yourself or someone else. It is a path to a new state of balance.
