11th Japanese International Manga Award
Every year, the Japanese International Manga Award rewards the authors of manga created outside Japan and registrations for the 11th edition are open!
The Japanese International Manga Award is organized by the Ministry of Japanese Foreign Affairs and the Japan Foundation to promote Japanese pop culture. It rewards international artists who contribute to spreading manga worldwide.
Registrations for the 11th International Manga Award are open until Friday, June 16, 2017. All the information is available on www.manga-award.jp.
The laureates will be offered a trip to Japan to go to the award ceremony, meet manga artists, and visit publishing houses.

For the 10th International Manga Award, Maître d'Armes (Dargaud) by the French Xavier DORISON and Joël PARNOTTE won the First Prize. It was the first time French artists were rewarded with this prestigious award.
