#3 Authorized and forbidden items
We have many questions about whether you can bring weapon replicas to the festival or not: the answer is still no. But as security rules change a bit, we explain everything to you!
Due to the security level (Vigipirate) in France at the moment, security measures at the entrance and inside the festival has been reinforced. When arriving, you’ll go through security search to check that you have no dangerous and forbidden items, before being led to the entrance corresponding to your ticket.
We also remind you that weapon replicas are strictly forbidden for all attendees, including cosplayers, unless they are made of foam-type padding, cardboard, worbla, or lightweight wood. To avoid mistakes and that you be denied the entrance to the festival, read the list of forbidden items in the "Security" section in the Attendees’ Guide.
It’s easily forgotten but avoid metal cutlery too for lunch, and rather take plastic forks and knives, or even better chopsticks!
