Yoko HANABUSA & Harumo SANAZAKI’s workshops

Two Mangaka, specialized in Shôjo, are at Japan Expo Sud to allow you to discover the secrets of the making of a Manga. Yoko HANABUSA is the author of Hello! Lady Lynn and many other titles in the style of Shôjo from the 80s. Another style, more like the 90s, with Harumo SANAZAKI, the author of Bishin and Angel Wars, among others.

The two artists propose 3 workshops of an hour and a half during the festival to learn how to create a Manga, from writing the script and drawing to the finishing touches.

These are the workshops taking place each day:

• Friday: script masterclass (1H30)
  Learn how to write a script for a Manga, with its characters and context
• Satuday: drawing masterclass (1H30)
  Discover how to draw a Manga and to show the feelings of a character very in a very easy way
• Sunday: demonstration of how to finish a page (1H30)
  Discover the finishing touches of a page, including coloring

How to register

The workshops last for an hour and a half each and can welcome 30 people at most.
