Biography

 

After studies which didn’t foretell about her future as a Mangaka, Harumo SANAZAKI made her debuts in 1981 with Ai wo kibou shimasu, published by Akita Shoten, followed by many other works mainly for the same publisher.

Then, she worked for other famous publishers such as Bunkasha, Shueisha or Kodansha, focusing on romance. Among her most famous works, let’s mention Angel Wars, Mai hime shichi henge, Tenshi no ryoriban, Abeno Seimei, Asakusa young youhinten.

Today, Harumo SANAZAKI keeps on publishing a lot. She is very prolific Mangaka with about 130 titles. She also works as a writer and teaches at the Toei Animation University.

Since 1997, she has been taking part in international programs between China, Korea, France, the USA and Belgium to give Manga lessons and is going to give you some of her secrets in Marseille!
