KAMIJO
As he’ll be on a European tour, KAMIJO, the singer of the bands LAREINE and Versailles, is at Japan Expo Sud on Saturday, March 7 for autographs and a panel, right before his concert on the same night in Marseille at Poste à Galène!
Biography
It was with the band LAREINE that KAMIJO started his career as a singer in 1999, under the label SME Records. In 2007, after a long period during which LAREINE was inactive, he formed the band Versailles and became a real active presence on stages, not only in Japan but also internationally. The band also wrote the official soundtrack of a movie, before splitting after a gig at the NHK hall in Tokyo.
In 2013, KAMIJO announced he was going to start his solo project, with the single Louis - enketsu no la vie en rose. In March 2014, he signed with the label Warner Music Japan and released a mini-album: Symphony of the Vampire.
2014 saw hiw first coming to Europe: after a gig in Paris last July, he’s going on a world tour starting with Europe in February. On March 7, the night of his big show in Marseille at Poste à Galène, he will also be at Japan Expo Sud during the day for a panel and autographs.
