Japanese traditional drums are powerful and rousing. They date back to the 6th century when they were used during religious rites. Lyu Taïko (meaning the "dragon’s drums") is a group from the South of France who promote this Japanese traditional art through concerts.
The group’s repertoire mixes traditional and modern music with taiko, shinobue (a little bamboo flute), ocarina, and chanchiki (little metal drum).
