Presentation
The budding musicians, of all generations, of Bamboo Orchestra play both sweet melodies and pieces with a good rhythm on unusual instruments entirely made of bamboo which produce a range of breath-taking sounds, both melodic and percussive.
Conducted by Makoto YABUKI, founder of Bamboo Orchestra in Japan and in France, music workshops have been created for a wide audience, giving birth to the Pousses de Bamboo Orchestra (the shoots of Bamboo Orchestra).

Two workshops in the South of France have brought together many participants for a few years now. A common repertoire, made of original works, allows to bring together these amateur troops for exceptional concerts.
In unison, younger and older musicians play Angklung, Take-Marimba, horns, and find powerful rhythms with Taiko and Slittam.
Pousses de Bamboo Orchestra’s first record, TAKENOKO, has been released last September: a must!
