Martial arts are part of the main activities of Japan Expo Sud and will soon be at the 4th Wave!

Every year several martial art clubs and associations come to Marseille to propose demonstrations and initiations. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly but real lessons with certified teachers are also given.

If you are brave enough and ready to sweat on the Tatami, you can meet sport fans which will share their passion for martial arts, which are often as much life philosophy as sport disciplines. They are a great way to discover traditional Japanese culture and Bushidô, "the way of the warrior"!

From Kendô to Kyûdô, from Aikidô to Chanbara, and also traditional Karate, there is a wide range of martial arts. And there is more! An area is entirely dedicated to martial arts for clubs to organize breathtaking demonstrations!
