Bujinkan Provence
Let’s try bujinkan, for the first time at Japan Expo Sud: Bujinkan Provence practitioners will be waiting for you on the tatami to introduce you to their discipline!
Presentation
Bujinkan, more precisely Bujinkan Dojo, is a martial arts organization founded in 1972 and run by Soke Masaaki HATSUMI, a direct student of Takamatsu TOSHITSUGU. The main dôjô is set in Japan, in Noda near Tokyo. Bujinkan Dojo is represented all over the world.
The full name of the discipline taught by Bujinkan Dojo is bujinkan budo taijutsu. It is a compilation of nine martial arts schools, six of them being bujutsu (samurai schools) and the other three ninjutsu (shinobi – or ninja – schools). This martial art was previously called bujinkan ninpo taijutsu and is now known as bujinkan.
