PREAMBLE

SEFA EVENT, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €100,000, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Bobigny under number 493 919 146, and headquartered at 14, place Georges Pompidou, 93160 Noisy-le-Grand, France, is the organizer of Japan Expo festivals. SEFA EVENT sells admission tickets to Japan Expo festivals, tickets for third-party events, and Japan Expo merchandise (hereinafter referred to as “additional products”) directly via its websites.

Before any transaction, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these General Terms of Sale, including all documents referenced herein, by clicking the “I have read and accept the terms and conditions” checkbox.

These terms may be updated without prior notice.

These terms only apply to tickets and additional products purchased on SEFA EVENT websites. Tickets sold via external platforms or for third-party events are subject to their own terms of sale.

ARTICLE 1 – PRICES AND QUANTITY OF TICKETS

1.1 Ticket prices are shown in euros, including all taxes and handling fees.
1.2 Multiple ticket types and prices may be offered depending on the event.
1.3 Some ticket types are available in limited quantities.
1.4 Unless stated otherwise, a single order may not exceed 19 tickets for the same event.
1.5 No group discounts are offered.
1.6 Children under 8 enter free. Proof of age may be requested.
1.7 All orders, regardless of origin, are payable in euros.
1.8 SEFA EVENT may adjust prices at any time. Tickets are billed based on prices at order confirmation.

ARTICLE 2 – AVAILABILITY

2.1 Tickets are sold in real time on Japan Expo websites.
2.2 SEFA EVENT provides real-time availability at the time of order confirmation.
2.3 The “My Cart” page allows you to verify your selection.
2.4 You have 15 minutes to confirm and pay for your order; otherwise, it is released for resale.

ARTICLE 3 – PAYMENT

3.1 Payments can only be made in euros by credit card (CB, VISA, Mastercard).
3.2 Bank payment refusal automatically cancels the order.
3.3 Your card is charged upon order confirmation. This charge applies even if you fail to print your ticket.
3.4 Tickets become your property only once payment and provided information are validated.

ARTICLE 4 – PAYMENT SECURITY & PERSONAL DATA

4.1 Payment Security:
Data is encrypted via HTTPS. Payments are handled by PAYBOX, certified for online transactions. Card data is not stored on SEFA EVENT sites—only transaction results are retained.

4.2 Personal Data:
To order tickets or additional products, you must create a Japan Expo member account. Data provided is stored securely to fulfill legal obligations and improve services. You must agree to the site’s terms of use and can opt in or out of marketing emails.

In accordance with France’s data protection laws (Law of 6 January 1978, amended 6 August 2004), you have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal data via your account or by contacting:

ARTICLE 5 – PROOF OF TRANSACTIONS

Unless proven otherwise, SEFA EVENT’s recorded data serves as proof of all transactions, including financial transactions recorded by the payment system.

ARTICLE 6 – ORDER CONFIRMATION

Your order is final only upon receiving a confirmation email with a transaction number. If you do not receive it, contact SEFA EVENT via the website's “Contact Us” page.

ARTICLE 7 – TICKET DELIVERY

7.1 Home Printing:

  • Tickets are sent by email in PDF format.

  • PDF tickets are also available in your “My Tickets” section online.

  • Each purchased seat equals one PDF ticket.

  • You are responsible for securing your account credentials.

7.2 Ticket Validity:

  • Print tickets in portrait mode on A4 white paper.

  • Tickets must be clearly legible. Damaged or unreadable tickets are not accepted.

  • Digital tickets are valid if the QR/barcode is readable.

  • Entry is refused without a valid ticket (emails or screenshots are not accepted).

7.3 Ticket Usage:

  • Each ticket has a unique barcode and QR code allowing one entry only.

  • Duplicating, altering, or reselling tickets is strictly prohibited.

  • SEFA EVENT may deny entry if duplicate tickets are detected.

ARTICLE 8 – EVENT ENTRY CONDITIONS

8.1 Health measures (e.g., masks) may be required due to COVID-19. Non-compliance may result in denied entry without refund.
8.2 Security checks (bag inspection, pat-downs) may be performed.
8.3 Refusal to comply with health or security rules results in denied access.
8.4 Your image may appear in event broadcasts or recordings.
8.5 Attendees are responsible for their own safety. No re-entry allowed.
8.6 Last entry is 30 minutes before closing (i.e., 6:00 p.m.).

ARTICLE 9 – ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS

9.1 Prices and Quantities:
Prices are in euros including all taxes. Some items may be limited in quantity.

9.2 Availability:
Same rules as tickets: 15 minutes to confirm and pay or the items are released.

9.3 Payment:
Only in euros via credit card. Refused payments cancel the order. Items are paid even if not printed.

9.4 Proof of Transactions:
Data recorded by SEFA EVENT and its payment system serve as proof.

9.5 Order Confirmation:
Confirmed by email. If not received, contact SEFA EVENT.

ARTICLE 10 – CANCELLATION, REFUND, USE

10.1 No withdrawal right under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
10.2 Tickets cannot be refunded, even if lost or stolen, unless the event is canceled. Refunds are issued to the original purchaser’s credit card.
10.3 Resale is illegal and punishable by law.
10.4 In the event of cancellation or schedule changes, SEFA EVENT may use your contact info to notify you.

ARTICLE 11 – ORDER TRACKING

ARTICLE 12 – EXTERNAL LINKS

SEFA EVENT is not responsible for the legality or content of third-party websites linked from its own. External websites may link to Japan Expo without prior authorization, but SEFA EVENT is not liable for their content.

ARTICLE 13 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, including text, logos, images, and software, is protected under intellectual property law. Any use outside personal scope is prohibited.

ARTICLE 14 – APPLICABLE LAW – DISPUTES

French law applies. Only French courts are competent in case of a dispute.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF SALE – SPECIAL TICKETS

PREAMBLE

SEFA EVENT offers premium tickets granting access to Japan Expo along with exclusive benefits described on the event websites.

ARTICLE P1 – PRICES & QUANTITIES

P1.1 Multiple types of SPECIAL TICKETS are offered, each with unique benefits listed under the “Tickets” section online.
P1.2 Quantities are limited per ticket type.
P1.3 Tickets are personal and non-transferable. Only one can be purchased per person, regardless of type.

ARTICLE P2 – REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

P2.1 The registration form must be fully completed. A valid photo is required and must meet the criteria listed in the FAQ > “ZEN” section. Non-compliant entries will be rejected. The buyer will receive an email detailing what must be corrected within 48 hours or the order is canceled. A new request will be needed based on remaining availability.

P2.2 Registration validation is sent by email within 3 business days.
P2.3 SEFA EVENT is not responsible for connectivity issues or site overload during registration.

ARTICLE P3 – USAGE – ACCESS TO THE FESTIVAL

P3.1 SPECIAL TICKETS grant access for the full event duration, unless stated otherwise.
P3.2 Upon first entry, holders must present a valid ticket (printed or digital) and photo ID.
P3.3 At the entrance, ticket holders receive:

  • A personalized badge with photo (provided by you)

  • Any other required item to activate ticket benefits

These are given once only and must be verified before leaving the entrance. No replacements will be issued.

P3.4 Badge presentation is required to access benefits.
P3.5 Premium benefits must be collected during the event. No postal delivery will be made afterward.
