Takeda Ryu, with a history older than a thousand years, is one of the most ancient school of Japanese martial arts that still exist today. Created in the Imperial Palace and developed by the Seiwa Genji family, its first aim was to protect the Palace.
The Takeda school martial arts have kept the traditional aspect of the training of bushi (Japanese warriors). The practice of a group of martial disciplines using weapons (kenjutsu, iaijutsu, battodo, jojutsu, shugijutsu, shurikenjutsu) and unarmed practice (aikijutsu, jujutsu, jûkenpô) are still the essence of this school training.
The teachers and students of the Takeda Ryu Kobilza Ha school are inviting you to discover demonstrations of those varied disciplines and propose initiations to iaidô (training sword), to jôdô (wooden stick), to jûkenpo (boxing) and many more!
