Beta Event – Giant Pacman
Japan Expo Sud is inviting you to try a new activity: a giant Pacman organized by Beta Event! The cult game has been played by generations since its release and is now coming in life size with you as the ghosts and Pacman himself!
Presentation
Released in Japan in 1980, Pac-Man was an instant success and was about to become one of the most famous arcade games of all times. The player navigates Pac-Man through a maze containing Pac-Dots. Pac-Man is chased by multi-colored ghosts while trying to get as many Pac-Dots as he can.
Program
With Beta Event, Pacman is being brought to life at Japan Expo Sud and you will be embodying the characters. In groups of four, attendees will put on the costumes of three ghosts and one Pacman. Lights on the floor represent the Pac-Dots and the Pacman player has to light them off while being chased by the ghosts who are trying to touch and eliminate him.
Become Pacman and turn off all the lights while avoiding the ghosts to win, or join the ghost team chasing Pacman!
There will be prizes for the winners.
