about Kanimy
Kanimy is a non-profit association founded by two anime enthusiasts: Vincent and Yanis, better known online by their pseudonyms Kawzzen and Yoyanis.
This association was created with the aim of organizing various events centered around anime. These events aim to bring together several content creators under one collective, but also to bring together French-speaking anime fans to celebrate, together, the culture we love so much.
In 2022, they launched the Anime Awards. These ceremonies celebrate anime culture and are now in their 5th edition. Based on a concept from the American distribution platform Crunchyroll, the Kanimy association imports and adapts its version of the ceremonies for a French-speaking audience.
Last year, Kanimy organized the 2024 Anime Awards at the Club de l'Étoile in Paris.
This year, the event is taking a new step forward and will be held for the first time at Japan Expo!
