Ninjutsu is a set of classical martial arts practiced by ninjas and samurai dating back over 1,000 years, comprising nine distinct schools of Chinese and Japanese origin.

These practices encompass a variety of weapons used on the battlefield, such as the katana, staff, spear, shuriken, jutte, kyoketsu shoge, knife, and hanbō. Taijutsu techniques are integrated, emphasizing kicks, punches, throws, locks, vital points, pressure points, and chokeholds.

Katas are taught, involving sequences of movements with bare hands and weapons, while practice is closely linked to self-defense, emphasizing practical applications in real-life situations. In addition, kumites, or soft sparring, are used to improve fighting skills and responsiveness.
