France Japan Connexion between cooking and tatoo

France Japan Connexion offers Japanese language classes for all levels in Marseille, cultural workshops such as Ikebana flower arranging, Sumi-e ink painting, Sashiko embroidery, and Japanese cooking and baking classes.

The association also organizes performances by Japanese artists, such as the Gidayu storytelling and Taiko drumming show in 2025, as well as cooking workshops with chefs such as Master Soba Takano.

At the Japan Expo booth, you can meet Master Soba Takano, who will give demonstrations of soba noodles (100% buckwheat noodles), so you can discover their health benefits and taste them by answering the quiz correctly on site. We will also have a surprise guest, Taemi, our pop-up tattoo artist specializing in Japanese designs and characters from the Priya workshop.
