Nippon Kempo Marseille
Have you ever heard about nippon kenpô? Whether you have or not, it’s time to get to know this martial art better at Japan Expo Sud! And why not give it a try with Nippon Kempo Marseille!
Presentation
Nippon kenpô is a Japanese martial art that has been known in France quite recently (1985). It is marked out by its very complete fighting technique, with the use of punch and kick boxing, and of wrestling. The protection kenpôka wear (bogu) reminds of a samurai armor.
Nippon Kempo Marseille has been developing this martial art in Marseille since 2010. It proposes trainings to the members (kenpôka) with the teaching of basic techniques and of the kata.
The practice is adapted to children, teens and adults, with an instructor checking up on the security, well-being, and development of the kenpôka. Nippon Kempo Marseille also enables the members to assess their level through kata tournaments (national, European, and international).
Program
On their booth, Nippon Kempo Marseille is welcoming Japan Expo Sud attendees to talk to them about nippon kenpô and answer all their questions.
On the Budô Area tatami, you will attend technical, kata, and combat demonstrations. You will also be invited to follow their instructions to make your first steps as a kenpôka!
