Jeronimo Cejudo
Jeronimo Cejudo is the mangaka of Ripper.
Jeronimo Cejudo is a manga author born in the south of France.
At the age of 8, he quickly developed a taste for drawing after a friend gave him volume 35 of Dragon Ball. He tirelessly copied the drawings to perfect his skills. Discovering One Piece, but above all Dreamland, convinced him once and for all to become a manga artist in France.
He began his career with Lil' Berry (3 volumes, published by Delcourt-Tonkam), for which he was solely responsible for the artwork.
In 2020, the announcement of the 100th edition of the Tezuka competition caused quite a stir. Open to international participants for the first time, Jeronimo entered and won second place, receiving praise from Akira Toriyama and Kazue Kato for his one-shot Devil Dive Inferno, a manga centered on the world of lucha libre.
When the results were announced, he signed with Ankama for a new series: RIPPER.
