Born in Marseille far too long ago, Philippe Cardona knew he would be an artist even before he could write.

Inspired by Dupuis comics, Disney magazines, American comics, and Japanese anime, he began studying fine arts and Japanese, during which time he met Florence Torta, with whom he has formed an inseparable duo. Together, in 2002, they created Sentaï School (Olydri Éditions), considered one of the first French manga.

After publishing several albums, he joined the team behind the web series Noob in 2009, drawing the comic book adaptation. He later contributed to the Tezucomi anthologies, adapting stories by Osamu Tezuka, before embarking on the spin-off Les Légendaires: Missions for Delcourt. In his 25-year career, Philippe Cardona has already published nearly 70 albums, to which his new series, Starlight, is now added!
