Let’s celebrate the relations between France and Japan
2018 is the 160th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Japan. An important event for all Japan fans and an event Japan Expo Sud is about to celebrate through its programming!

For this 160th anniversary, Japanese culture has pride of honor on the festival stages! French and Japanese artists get together to offer you the best of traditional music and dance:
- The Japanese group SEN and the French Lyu Taiko are performing taiko concerts everyday
- The Japanese troupe Vogue and the French Yosakoi Paris Hinodemai hold yosakoi dance performances on Saturday and Sunday
- The koto player Gaho TAKAHASHI and the French musician Alex Dai blend their styles for a koto-electro show on Saturday and Sunday
