This weekend let’s celebrate sports!
Next summer, the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo and Japan Expo Sud 11th Wave is getting ready for it by highlighting sports, including with its anime guest, Masaki SATO, the chara-designer of Slam Dunk, and its poster designed by Aurore!

Manga and anime fans, as well as basketball fans, probably know Slam Dunk, Takehiko INOUE’s manga adapted as an anime and whose chara-designer is our guest Masaki SATO! You’ll find his schedule on his guest page
Sports is also honored on the festival poster with the illustrations designed by Aurore on this occasion!
And for the attendees who want to go further and have fun while actually practice sports:
- The Budô area proposes martial art demonstrations and initiations with 6 local clubs
- HADO, the new generation of sports including augmented reality, will make you fire your first energy balls!
- Halfway between football and blow up sumo fights, let's try bubble foot
- Try your skill at axe throwing (inflatable axes, obviously)
- Learn how to use a lightsaber and fight like a jedi!
