Immersed in music since she was young, MION is a Japanese singer-songwriter who is pleased to come back to Japan Expo Sud after her first visit to Centre!
You loved her, she is back at Japan Expo Sud! You will be able to attend showcases mixing her own music and covers of famous Japanese songs from different musical genres such as J-pop, J-rock and ballad.
MION grew up in the world of music and it was after winning the best performance award at YAMAHA's Music Revolution contest at only 16 years old that her professional career took off.
Active for over a decade in Japan, MION has released eleven solo singles and has toured four times nationwide. Her hit single "Summer Magic" reached #1 on the Oricon Daily Charts and peaked at #10 on the Oricon Weekly Charts in 2016. Her other singles, Alive (2017), Want You Back (2018), and S.O.S -Soul of Steven- (2019), also topped the Oricon Singles Charts.
Now based in the UK, she performs all over the country and is now looking to Europe with the goal of bringing European and Japanese artists together so they can share their common passion for music.
