Cyprien IOV

Revealed by his cult comedy sketches, Cyprien quickly established himself as a major figure on the web, recognized for his writing and sense of rhythm.

Over the years, Cyprien has expanded his creative horizons to different media.
In 2015, he wrote the script for his first comic book, Roger et ses humains, a public success that was later adapted into an animated series.
In 2017, he created the audio series L'Épopée Temporelle, also adapted into an animated series, in which he voices the main character.

Passionate about Japan and pop culture, Cyprien draws inspiration for some of his work from his numerous trips to Japan. He has directed and produced several short films shot in Japan, including Minori and Fujisan, which showcase a more cinematic approach.
In 2026, he published Le Pire Guide du Japon (The Worst Guide to Japan), which he wrote and illustrated entirely himself, a travel journal filled with personal anecdotes and observations on Japanese society.

As an author and director, Cyprien continues to develop ambitious projects in comics, animation, and film, affirming his constant desire to tell stories across all media.
